    Thanks everyone I am glad you like the pieces. My wife really likes them also so that is a good thing.

    Garasaki; the finish is a General Finishes product called Arm-R-Seal. Although they did something to it different than the previous container that I had as the finish took a lot more effort than it has in the past.

    Paul; That is a pretty good question as I really don’t pay much attention to the time I am taking to make something so I have had to think about it for awhile. I would say that between the two pieces I have at least 60 to 70 hours including the finishing which probably takes at least 30 percent of the time. Now you know why I do not do this stuff for a living!

                    Wonderful work as usual Ken. Nice book matched top, how'd the burl veneer treat you this time around?? I've started to saw my own 1/16" veneers as some of the commercial ones are pretty tricky to work. Any tips?
