Well I ran out of mahogony so the door is walnut. It looks ok together I guess.
Those tiny hinges were one of the hardest things I ever did. Well getting the door to close straight I guess. I need to put a little magnetic catch in there yet I guess because it doesnt stay closed on the wall. I used a key hole bit to route a hole to hang it on a screw in a stud.

So now that I got a few shot glasses out of my curio its not quite so crowded. Maybe I will make another one for the tall ones.

That is beautiful. What are the dimensions? One of my long term ideas is a similar case to hang in my shop to display some of my grandfathers old tools. He was a master machinist for many years.

its 19 1/2" tall and 16" wide. The shelves are 1/8" thick and about 2 1/2" deep.
Im hoping to find the magnetic latch at woodcraft.
They have them on the website. I will use one and a small metal tab. That ought to hold it. Maybe if I did better on the hinges I wouldn't have needed one. Or maybe I should have shelled out a little more on better hinges.

I just bought ball catches (sounds awful ... ) at Rockler. They have several sizes. I wanted a catch for a door on a small china cabinet, and these are really nice. Of course, they are around $5 each, so they ought to be. They may not work for your door, looking at the picture, but Rockler does have a wide selection. I visit the Rockler in Denver, so I am pretty familiar with their inventory, but Lee Valley has lots of hardware, as well. We just got a Woodcraft nearby, so I'm anxious to check them out.

Also, I think Rockler has free shipping to mid-February.
