That's funny , it was + 10 here for the past week and then yesterday got a whole inch of snow .

Logs ?

Wow John you do some fantastic work. How do you cut the logs ? I have a old log style bird feeder that needs some new parts , I picked up a router bit to cut logs but am not quite shure how I want to go about cutting them. How do you cut them ?

I use the table saw to make the logs.
I rip the boards into 1 inch strips and then i put the blade on 45 degrees and clip about 1/4" off the corners.
It takes about an hour to make enough logs to build one of these smaller houses.

I imagine if you have a router table set up you could make them just as fast.
