    Simple Wine Rack

The fruitcake that I gave the fruitcake box to also makes homemade wine, he gave us 9 bottles for Christmas with instructions to make a rack for them. I screwed up the first run so this rack doesn't quite hold them all, this was a trial anyway.

My own design, pretty simple and straightforward, but I think it's neat. Made to be wall-mounted, it's clamped to the bench in the picture just to see how it'd look when loaded. I'll supply pics of me loaded later

It's made from soft maple and will get shot with several coats of lacquer and buffed to a glass finish. I think a few variations will be built from Ambrosia Maple, dunno why I think this, but I think Ambrosia Maple just goes with wine.

If it ain't broke.. don't fix it!!!... but you can always 'hop it up'

Three Project in 1 month!!!! OK, who are you and what have you done with Thom?!?!?!?!?

Interesting design, curious on how you are going to mount it to the wall. Seems like a lot of weight hanging out there. Hate to see the whole thing go tumbling down.

      Cool design, Thom!

Showing up in the 'Finished Projects'...Who finished it and what did it cost you???? Three in one year would be a record, but in a month!

Nice "rack" Thom. Couldn't resist that one.

Very nice job and I really like the design on that one. Very unusual and unique. You did a good job.
