    Bandsawn box from downUnder

    Hi

I've visited this Forum a little while now and thought it was time that I joined. May I introduce myself, I make bandsawn boxes, in fact that is all I do (woodworking). This two drawer box is constructed from a block of Australian Red Cedar (with Fiddleback) and is 18.5 cm tall, 12cm deep and 12.5cm width.

    Thank you for your time

Very nice. I like the design and that wood is great. I like turning and working with cedar myself because it looks great and smells even better but I've never seen cedar that's as beautiful as that in your box.

Welcome to the forum, Tony. That is one awesome box.

I remember Rod K commenting on how expensive Australian cedar is compared to fencing-grade cedar here in the US. Now I know why!
