    Hall Table

This is a table I made for my step daughter for Christmas. The wood is filled with worm holes and was part of the Lumber Liquidators deal several of us got last spring. The stain is walnut, the legs are finished with wipe on poly and the top has a pour on clear finish that equals about 60 coats of poly. It is a resin and hardener that gives a 1/8 inch high gloss thick surface that is heat & alcohol resistant, waterproof and requires no polish. She was very happy with it.

No it was real easy, you do need to do it in as dust free an area as you can.

Nice work, John! The finish turned out really nice.

Was the LL deal a mixed bundle? What kind of wood did you use for that piece?

Yes it was mixed, a good bit of it was cherry, I never have ID'ed the wood I used on this, it is filled with worm holes so it makes for a very antique look.
