Great job. That is a heckuva lot of cabinetry for that price.

Loved the format of the post and all the pics. Was quite enjoyable while sipping my morning coffee.

    Thanks,
    BobL.

Great set of pictures - job came out nice. Could tell stories about things I didn't plan on till it was too late. It's like the sign PLAN AHEA D.

Great job Larry! You took a lot of dead space and turned it into useful work space. Looks pretty darn good too!

Nice execution! Those 2x4's cleaned up real nice!

I liked the "We should be able to easily finish this project tomorrow" -- but I feel like I've heard that somewhere....

                    2x4s

Very Nice Larry. I too took some hints away from this for my TS extensions.

I built my workbench from plans in Wood Mag a little over a year ago. It had me rip off the rounded edges of the 2x4s and I was amazed how nice they squared up and how nice they looked. It made for some very tight joints.

I appreciate all the nice comments from everyone; thanks a lot.

A special thanks to niki, who gave me a tutorial in how he posts pictures from an external source. He also influenced the way these pictures were presented. I actually had had the idea to present a photo essay of this project at its various stages even before he appeared on the scene here at BT3Central. I had taken a bunch of photos and was planning to post them with the explanatory remarks as ordinary text, between them. Niki's jig pictures gave me the idea to put the words right onto the pictures themselves (I used Paint Shop Pro).

I have a couple other projects upcoming that will be more "furniture-like" and may document them in similar fashion. Stay tuned ...
