    Christmas Rocking Horse

This is the 4th one of these I've made. I posted the first one 3 years ago. I'm posting again because I want you guys to know that I am doing something. This one is for my nephew. He just had his first birthday. Being the cheap guy I am I made it of laminated 2 x 4's. (The only 2 x kiln dried stuff I could find at Lowe's) Has 4 coats of poly over a light oak stain.

I've got requests for 2 more of them so I'd better get going on them.

Thanks for looking at it AGAIN. I promise not to post the next two.

My word. That is beautiful! I can't believe you could do something that darn Neat. It looks store bought and I'm shocked that every kid on the block is begging you for one of those. That is extremely nice! Good job!

Post away, Caludio. Something that beautiful deserves to be shown off whether it is the first or fiftieth!

                Excellent Horse!

Fantastic job, and with 2x4's as well. Incredible patience & attention to detail. The soft wood took the stain very well, and the poly makes it shimmer!

Yes, very nicely done. How long did you sift through the lumber at Lowes to come up with that?

There is going to be one VERY happy "cowboy" when that is presented.
                            Great work Claudio.

Great work. Man, where were you when I was a kid. I do remeber having a broomstick horse though. I know your nephew's gonna love it.
