the witch of better late than never...

Well, I missed all hallow's eve on this one, but it's in time to make a cool christmas present. I have been far too busy as of late for much shop time, and I've been sick to boot, but I finally finished this scroll saw project. It's for a friend of mine.

Baltic birch ply in layers. Ebonized poplar frame with purple heart splines.

That's pretty cool, that looks an awful like a pattern I did on a pumpkin I did last year.

Thanks all, yeah, 4 layers total of 1/4" baltic birch. The cutting was somewhat tough on the 1/4" stuff with a 00 scroll saw blade at times. I think if I do another, I'll try the 1/8". The depth might not be as nice, but it'll probably cut in 1/2 the time.

This one was a pattern, btw, out of scroll saw magazine.
