    Toy Box

Here are some pics of the toy box I finished today. It's going into my little girls "princess" themed bedroom. It's made from pine and pocket screws, and a few brads. The plan was a lowe's magazine my Dad had. It measures 35"wx19"dx20"h.

      Very nice!

I'm sure she'll be able to pass that down to your granddaughter... someday!

And, she should thank you for getting a lid support that won't let it slam down on her pinkies!

      GOOD JOB!

I would have guessed it was a blanket chest for the wife or mom, not a toy box! Wery nice piece.

                  Measure it with a micrometer...
                  Mark it with a crayon...
Cut it with a chain saw!

im not a big pine fan but that looks good. where are all the pocet hole screws? I don't know how id feel about toys beating it up though? I made a few toy boxes out of pine 1X boards and painted them. They got beat up pretty bad and threw em out after a couple years. Those were my very first projects with a cirular saw and router.
                      Great job....
