    The Marble Tower

I got the plans and started this in Jan 05.... been slacking for various reasons. One of which is this is a project that actually has to do more than hold socks or a beer glass. Let myself be intimidated by the plan I guess.
The plan and kit came from Cherry Tree Toys http://www.cherrytreetoys.com/store/...item=3&mitem=3
This is one of those projects that "took all the tools in the toolbox" some of which I had to dust off and take out of storage.
I'm not sure I can remember all the different woods in it, common pine, ash, white oak, fir, purple heart, rosewood, mahogany, walnut, cherry, zebrawood and on and on... now for a table to set it on.

and a link to the rest of the pics, http://bt3gallery.fhauto.com/view_al...e-tower-begins
It was fun, I may make some tweaks down the road but for now it's hard to walk buy without pumping a marble or two. Pat

My wife has been after me for *years* to make one of these, but I refuse to until we have grandkids and a place to put it.

WOW!!!! Looks great, I don't even want to think how much time it took you. I would be tempted to pump a few marbles every time I walked by also. I don't think still pictures does it justice, about a video clip!

That's really great. I bet every kid (little or grown up) will love playing with it.

Pretty hard to guess Doc. I built the main frame a year and a half ago. didn't take much to do that.
Started peddling around with it again about a month ago. Hmmm maybe about a month's worth of weekends. Pat
