    Toddler Bed

My first actual furniture project, A toddler bed for my almost 2 year old son.
Made from old maple flooring laminated and "sliced". Knotty and colored pieces specifically selected to give the finished piece some "texture".
Finish is Minwax ipswitch pine, to color the wood filler and give a light red hue to the project, then 2 coats of minwax semi gloss poly.

    Very nice!

Now what finish did you use on the wall?

Hah, you like that? It's cedar shakes over silver backed insulation. We’re currently living an a 100+ year old beach cabin.
So... yeah it has some problems.
But you can't beat the private beach.

Very nice. I like the way you spliced pieces together; that looks cool.
