LOML ask me to build a keepsake box for her nephew who just had a baby. I had some wood left over from that Lumber Liquidators pallet deal that had worm holes through it and thought it would give the project an aged appearance. Build a simple box, routed the top and added a base then routed the child's initials in the lid. I stained it with cherry and sprayed it with shellac.
