The barn on our property was built in 1876. It fell around 1990 when DW's grandfather owned the property. Some of the wood was savaged and stored in the garage/ shed. Its ship lap vertical siding, I have to assume that its from 1876. A fly by the seat of my pants project, no plans, just cut some plywood for the shape that I thought might work and went from there. I'm a little unsure of the proportions, the door looks a little tall and skinny.

Great project.
I love stuff made from reclaimed wood.
Have often thought about getting into salvaging old buildings here on the prairies but need way more space.
Haven't found anyone around here doing it on any scale.
There is a guy in town that makes shelving units from old closet doors and other furniture items from reclaimed building materials. Nothing of any great scale though.Brian

The doors on a corner cabinet only look skinny because they are! The only way to change it is to give up depth by making the sides narrower. More practical the way you have it.
