    I very much like the BS box. When did a 14" band saw become "small"?? I mean, sure it's not HUGE, but it's not really small either. Still, very good point, cutting that must have been tricky. Especially at the necks of the tulips, as it would be pretty thin there.

      Finish is rattle can Deft gloss lacquer. I need to buy their stock so I can get some of my money back. On the top, bottom boxes and the center stem cuts I had to back out of the cuts and come from the other direction because of the throat depth on the 14" saw but it wasn't that much trouble. The basic design idea came from a book but the actual design followed the green streaks in the wood. Thanks for all the nice comments. These sanding boxes are a pita but they do turn out nice. Pat

            Alright, all of these bandsaw boxes leave me in awe.... Where would a guy like me who has no idea where to start, Get started?? Is there a book that everyone should read first?? I really appreciate any and all suggestions.
