Cherry and Walnut Box

Decided it was time for me to do someting in the shop other than move tools, sweep and think, so here we go.

This was totally fly by the seat of my pants design wise. Alittle asian flare with the extended overhangs. Made from all scraps. Bottom is a piece of Cedar, Case is Cherry with Walnut dowel joinery and the top is a Cherry slab sawn in half and reglued with a walnut "handle". Finish is just plain old Tongue oil.
