Hey Pat - Shadow Box finally finished

I finally got off the road long enough to finally this thing up and get rid of the screws that were temporarily holding it together. One coat of Danish oil and 3 light coats of clear lacquer. I already have orders for 3 more and had to turn down one due to the fact that I'm moving back to Charleston in another week. I personally wasn't satisfied with the way it turned out but I guess they did.

Killer job Mike. Almost makes me wish I'd been an "Airdale".... Well, ok, maybe not, but the box is topshelf anyway. Wonder what that would look like in Dolphins? Ought to stop by on your way to Charleston. Pat

I'm trying to work on a pattern for an ETC and a BMC that's retiring in a couple of months. This one was fairly easy as the insignia fit in the spots in lieu of the AC microphone. The Dolphins might be worth the challenge to figure out. I do know that if I keep doing these kind of things I need a bigger band saw. I had to rough cut this one with a jig saw.

Pat - Where is Woodbine? I've been reading your posts for a couple of years now and I wouldn't mind in the least a break in the UHaul motion machine. Maybe talk about how those Dolphins are the sub race anyway.
