    Wedding Gift

My youngest is being married this afternoon. His older brother is the best man and wanted to give them a framed copy of the invitation, his toast, and a wedding picture. The photo will replace the ball and chain in the heart cut out.

The frame was cut with a molding bit on the router table from Maple with Walnut splines, finished with Deft gloss laquer. The matting is cut from a piece of formica.

I take no credit for this frame. Paul did all the work himself with only assistance in set up from me. Also, the first wood project he has ever done!

That's pretty cool and very nice job on the frame. Love the color an finish. Neat present that they both will like a lot.

That looks good. Also a good idea on the formica for a mat.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I'll pass them along to #1 son.

#2 son got the girl (or the other way around!), #1 made the frame. And, yep, I think he may get into woodworking.
