My First WW Project - "Big Teeth"

This was my first attempt at wood carving. I was about 8 or 9 years old and my father was a dentist and a fanatical wood carver. So, I got this chunk of balsa wood, and thought I would carve some teeth and present them to my dad as a gift. To say the least, he was surprised, and he even found a cavity.

Too cool, C-man! My niece's new husband is a dentist. This makes me wish I'd done teeth instead of that crazy-wheeled cart project!

Coolest part of it is that you still have your first project. Mine was a set of bookends I made for my Mother. She gave them to me a couple of years before she died. A bit worse for the wear, but something I wouldn't part with.

That is one of the neatest project I've seen here. Very unique and perfect for a dentist dad.

Great work and a wonderful project to treasure. Great gift idea. Might even be used as unique award because

you certainly wouldn't want to give a dentist any kind of plaque........
