    Shadow Box

I may have sized the photo too small but I'm not sure. I was on the road for 3 weeks and only had this past couple of days to do this one. The retirement ceremony was yesterday so we decided to take it in unfinished. I should get it back Monday to disassemble and do the final sanding. Since I was out of time I didn't even glue the stock together but used some screws that are hidden by the flag case legs and in turn used pocket holes on the inside of the flag case that are hidden by the flag. Thanks for the good help on this one as the Chief was pleased. This didn't turn out at all like I had envisioned but kind of evolved on its own.

The Chief wouldn't happen to be an airdale would he? I've made quite a few of those myself but that is danged original. I want to see the finished pictures. Super job shipmate. Pat

Thanks Pat and I'll definitely do that. It was funny once it was all over but she didn't give me a lot of input other than she wanted "something" shaped like the wings plus I had made the flag case as a standalone and found out the day before that she would like to have it attached to the box. Back to the drawing board.

That is a very good idea on the flag case. It looks great.
