Nice bench - feels extremely sturdy... enjoy :-)

I'm thinking on similar lines, but splitting my table into two smaller tables (3'x2' each) with lockable castors. Managed to get free flooring panles for use on 'trashable' table tops. Also, got some extremely strong plastic pallets that I could cut into size to be used for the "torsion box" base grid. I'm using a lot of recycled materials - got me a metal detector - and was able to get rid of nails and such in lumber for framework.

Looks great, Charlie; nice and solid!

I envy anyone that can get by without cabinet drawers in their workbench. I think there's a Murphy's Law about where you clamp your workpiece, and which drawer you need to get into.

      Regards,
      Tom
