Boy does time fly! It seems like only yesterday I made this:

That's mini-me in the picture, 2 years ago! Yikes!! My daughter was born in March of 2005 and she officially hates being in the high chair now. She'll scream bloody murder until you take her out. I've been working on her chair for a while and finally finished it up today. I go through spurts of wanting to finish projects followed by spurts of wanting to start projects, sometimes they are in sync, sometimes not. Guess I'm on a "finish it" stint..
Fiona's chair is made of alder with a pine seat. I used a spirocrafter from milescraft to create the rose pattern. This time I painted the pattern with a small brush and hobby paint. Last time I used spray paint and it ran a little more than I wanted in the fibers of the wood. Cellulose sealer would have helped there I suppose but I wanted to stain that one. It still turned out ok though. This one I didnt stain at all.
Otherwise, both chairs are identical. I found that each of them has to have the same thing of their own. 2 bouncy balls, 2 balloons, 2 whatever, chairs are the same..
Blah blah blah, here is what is looks like:
Liams chair on the right bears "his" pattern which I did inlays of in his dresser and night stand. (http://www.bt3central.com/showthread...hlight=dresser)
In the chairs I just did the simple pattern with black paint.
My son also pointed out that they are great tent making frames. Actually, I need to make a bigger one for him. It goes by quickly doesn't it?
