    Sofa/picture table just for me

I love making stuff for other people but once in a while....
The latest FWW had a design article in which they gave 4 designers a picture of a bridge and some basic dimensions and said come up with something.....
This is my take on one of the designs. Kind of a departure from what I normally do but I'm pretty happy with it.
Legs are 3/4" ply covered in 1/4" white oak, don't know what the dark wood is. The top and bottom shelf are spalted poplar. Finish on the legs is satin spray lacquer, the top and shelf are 4 coats of brush on gloss lacquer.

Ahhhh, how many is this Thom? Pat

Since I live in the county where open burning is legal, Pat, just send it to me and I will dispose of it for you....

Pat, what a unique design! I like that the top is 'rustic' rather than squared-off.

Gotta chime in too. That is outstanding. Nice project. It is wonderful when a project can use some of nature's own design. Nice choice of material as well.

You've raised the bar again, Pat. Very 'artful'.
The natural edge and curved legs make this one special.
