    Reclaiming valuable shop space

Not exactly "fine woodworking", but it was a project nonetheless, and I don't get to post in here very often

No TS required, only tools I used were a circ, rafter square, cordless drill, cordless impact (that thing ROCKS!!!) jigsaw, and a tape measure.

    oh ... and a pencil ...

Needed something to get 3 trash cans and 2 recycle bins out of the shop without having to hunt for 3 blocks in a windstorm .... this is what I came up with on the fly ....

    (Mr. Clark <aka Popeye> ..... raspberries to you, I done did do'd sumthin' )

I need something like that to shade my AC unit but the panels would have to be removeable. BTW, is that an 'approved' clothes line????

Cool, you the cans out of the shop and reduced the size of the "recycle pile" at the same time!

            Great Job, Thom.
I have trash cans in my shop and often wonder why I bother. From the looks of the floor most of the time, I either miss alot or there are parties in there after I lock up for the night.

Surely I'm not working hard enough to create that much mess. If I ever drop anything on the floor, its gone from the face of the earth.

I wish I could get the trash containers and bags out of the garage/shop. The city calls it "bear baiting" to leave the cans out and will cite. Black bears are mean and distructive, like over grown rats. The flat landers moving up here think they're cute so now we humans have to try and get along with the critters. Still, up here on the hill side you sometimes hear a shot late at night. Then you have to get the shovel out and go help the neighbor bury the evidence. There's a cottge industry up here of people trying to invent bear proof trash containers. The guy who comes up with a successful design will get rich because the state and city will mandate them.

I do rejoice when some numbskull goes jogging on the trails and surprises a bear on a kill. I always root for the animal in those confrontations and hope they escape the avenging game officers.
