        Looks great and perfect timing! LOML and I did some cleaning up and organizing this past weekend and determined that we need a larger unit to house our CD's and DVD's. How many discs does your design hold?

            Looks great and this is the right way to store CDs - vertically. Somewhere I have a long article that says things like not to write on them etc. and also to store them vertically to maximize life.

                cd capacity

                ndj - each shelf holds 40+ cds, so the whole cabinet holds upwards of 160. The dimensions are roughly 19" across, 24" high (without the legs), and 8 1/2" deep.
