    Humidors finally complete!

Been a while since I have posted here, mostly due to my recent retirement from U.S Naval Service after 26 yrs (that'll; be another post).

Awhile back there where some humidors posted and I metnioned I had some inthe works. Well they are finally done. Following are the 2 biggets ones, the others will be posted later.

The first was origianlly made for me but I had an offer I couldn't refuse so I sold it. It's Walnut Burl Veneer on Spanish cedar for the top, Maple trim for the top, Black Walnut for the case. The inside is lined with 1/4" thick Spanish cedar made to removed if needed. The drawer was my design so I could store my cutters and lighters.

The next one is a Bubinga veneer on Spanish Cedar with Maple trim and Honduran Mahogany case.

The finish is General Finishes Clear (1 coat) and many, many, many coats of General Finishes Seal-A Cell. Topped with a coat of finihs wax buffed to a high gloss. I wish the figure in the Burl and Bubnga would have come out better but my photo skills are lacking.

Now if I just just figure out how to put text in between the pics on this new software I'll be golden!

    Thanks for lookin'!

Great looking humidors! I love the bubinga top on the 2nd one. I'm doing a project right now that involves bubinga; that stuff is like carving rock!
