Here we go. The #1 reason I decided to get into woodworking. Up until I started in this, I had never built anything with wood. Well, nothing that didn't require nails or screws, anyhow, so I'm pretty excited.
Back and sides: honduran mahogany
Top: sitka spruce
Bindings: white oak
Bridge, fingerboard, and headstock overlay: Madagascar Rosewood
All work, inlays, etc, done myself
For those musically inclined among you, here's some more:
dreadnought body
pre-war forward shifted/scalloped bracing
maple bridge plate
bone nut/saddle/tuners
hot hide glue used throughout
Grover Sta-tite tuners
nitro finish
at least a few quarts of blood, sweat and tears
Binding, neck joint, etc, cut on my BT3, of course!
