    First Dovetail

Just finished my first crack at a dovetail joint with a "inca jig" that I got over the weekend. I was geared up enough that I thought I'd post some shots. THe jig is on sale at Rockler stores for about $100. So toss in the $10 for a 14 degree 1/2 dovetail jig and you're set.

This is just a pratice to see how well they line up. Looks good to a beginner like me. I'm excited to build my first draw now!

    Hope the pics come through!

That jig is pretty slick, isn't it? Looks like a nice tight fit, good job.

Nice! The first dovetail is always a mile stone.
