    Truck Toy Chest

My wife asked for a Toy Box for our grandson's "stuff" as he calls it, so instead of just building a rectangular box I built one that resembles a pick up truck.
At this time he thinks it's a Bread Box as he knows my wife wants me to make one but he doesn't know what one is otherwise he'd know this was a bit big.
It's almost finished but thought I'd post it now as what has left to be done is minor.
It measures approx. 61" long, 27" high and 20" deep

That is a really cool idea Derek. I like it a lot. Did you use plans for that or did you design that yourself. Just curious on that???

I did it myself as I could not find an appropriate plan.
Still got to outline the wheels black and maybe put my grandson's name on the back instead of the Nissan that's on mine.
He wanted white because that's what mine is.
If he's a good boy at school this week he'll get it this weekend, that's a big if though.
              Thanks

That's really neat. When I was a kid all we had was an old cardboard box for our toys. Course my dad wasn't a woodworker like yourself. Very nice job.

I'm just about ready to post pictures on a toybox that we're finishing up. Hopefully will get finshed with the touch up work this week.
