I have found that you can never have too many batteries for cordless tools. Long ago, I grew tired of carrying chargers and packs on a work site outside the shop. One day, under a work bench, I spotted an old tool tote that I had outgrown. Looked like something I could carry packs and a charger in. Turned out six 18 volt Ryobi packs just fit in it. Where to put a charger? Well, one thing led to another and "The Mega Battery Tote" became a reality. The drawer holds bits, drivers, and spare fuses. The 1 and 0 marks on the rim of the tote are used to denote charged and discharged packs. The post covers on the packs are number 22 crutch tips from the pharmacy. The charger bins are built up from 1/4" luan ply with a full length 1/4" ply base that runs from end to end. The charger bins have cooling holes in the floor located under the vents on the chargers. Don't laugh too hard!

That is a rather clever idea. Everything at arms reach and in one central location.Larry R. Rogers

Great idea Jim. I think I might steal it for use in my shop. Thanks!Monte (another darksider)
