    98.2% Finished Aquarium Stand

    This is my first full furniture project start to finish. Man did I make a lot of mista...I mean learned a lot[:I] The stand was supposed to be finished for my mom's birthday back in November, then christmas, and hopefully tommorrow...ok maybe thursday.

    I'll be the first to say, pretty dawg gone nice.

    I'm not overly fond of oak (a bit over used in my opinion), but I wouldn't mind having that in my livingroom. and more importantly, I don't think LOML would mind either.

            I like it. Looks great.

            People, espicall moms and wives, will wait for months to have a costom piece of furniture, instead o the K-mart "blue light special"

                        I guess I can stop worrying that my mom will tell me that it is
                        to ugly for a fish stand I forgot to mention the tank is 55
                        gallons and will have mainly cichlids that can't stop having babies.
                        As promised, I should have a complete project by next thursday, and
                        eventually some pictures. ****! I'm such a procrastinator.

                          Nice use of the grain on those two top horizontal panels...er, maybe they are drawer fronts?
