Installing Herculift on BT3000 base?

I looked through all the threads and they all seem to mention that the BT3000 will work with some modifications, but unlike the BT3100, there doesn't seem to be any pictures or details on exactly how to do this, I'm hoping someone out there can give me some pointers, or some pictures?

I'm thinking I will probably have to remount the bottom cross beams a bit higher to make room for the herculift. But any tips on how to adjust the herculift to a BT3000 base would be most appreciated, thanks!

I've also googled anything in regards to this, and the only thing it found were threads here, which again didn't seem to have any BT3000 people talking about how to install the lift. I've seen a bunch of posts that indicate it works, I even swear I saw a web page that someone detailed what they did, but for the life of me I can't find it again.
