    BT3100 Lubricating the Clamping Bolt . . .

Hi, my manual recommends lubing the bore of the Clamping Bolt
on my bt3100's elevating mechanism. How exactly am I to gain access
to the bore? I can't see how to remove the bolt.
I'm a new owner, sorry for the imposition and thanks.

I bottom it then spray the bolt with dry lube, and run it up. Spray again then run it down. Done.

Good question! I've never lubed mine in the ten years that I've owned my saw. You could remove the wheel, lever and then bolt, lube it then re-assemble. You may be able to use a straw on a spray lube and snake it in there.
