    Shim replacement (where to buy)

I need to replace the L-Shaped rear shim on my bt3x0 for the guide. I read the article on how to get it out but i am confused to which part it is in the diagram in the book. Is it #3 or what.

Does anyone have a part number and where i can get it on-line?

    Should I replace the v-belt while I am there? (part # ?)

Please help, i love my bt3x0. Shim wiggled out the bottom and bent and cracked.

Try M & D http://www.m-and-d.com/ They handle Ryobi saw parts.

Have you tried Ryobi directly? I went to their website and found that all parts are still available through them. I ordered all new slides and eccentric screws to tune up my miter table. I got the slides for $.43 each. Sears wanted $2.16 for the same price. I'm not sure how much some of the other places go for, but I ordered my on a Saturday and had them on Thursday.\

      Just a thought.

          Got it

Thanks guys. I did go to "ereplacement's" website and picked up 2 shims (one as a spare) and a set of belts. Spent 60 bucks. Ordered on the 13th and got them today. Will tear into it tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

If you follow the recommendation and install the shim supports as per my article you should never have to replace your shims again.
