    Elevation wheel / 90 degree gears

    Hello! As a newbie to this forum I have to tell you how delighted I am to have found such an incredible knowledge base. Which brings me to me question. Although I've had my BT3000 for over 15 years I have just today replaced my first set of shims. (Thank you, Mark Stripes!) The elevation wheel is still running rough though. My reading of the parts diagram suggests that there are two washers and a nut that are supposed to be on the bottom of the threaded shaft - see photo attached.
    I'm hoping someone can confirm this is the case - and if anyone has suggestions, I'd love to hear them
