    I need a snoopy dance

I just figured out how to get the belts back on both of the arbors on the saw

this may not sound like much, but I was so frustrated and beat down by this last time I tried, I actually just put the saw up on a shelf and walked away from it...

that was about a year ago, seriously.

now, the belts are back on, the motor is back together, and I will probably reassemble the body of the saw tomorow, and put the stock blade back on it

the 40T diablo blade that came on the saw from it's previous owner will find a new home on my chop saw

I am quite pleased with myself, since this beat the tar out of me last time

Snoopy Dance! I know it is tough. Several years ago when I broke a belt on mine (the inside one) it took some doing for me to get the belts replaced. I think I tried for a couple nights before I got it done.

The chief cause of failure in this life is giving up what you want most for what you want at the moment.

I'll call your Snoopy dance I'll raise with a 'happy happy joy joy' dance and song from Ren and Stimpy.

You don't need a parachute to skydive, you only need a parachute to skydive twice.

So far the only glitch with mine has been a stuck elevation handle that needed dust blown out and some lube. I count myself as very lucky.

well double up on the fun boys, not only did I get the belts on, but I just finished reassembling the chassis of the little beastly kill 31K and low and behold, after some playing with the ground and the switch, the darn thing turns on, and sounds like it will cut something, as intended, not grinding, no rasping, just a nice universal motor scream, and the sound of air wooshing out the exhaust port.
