I believe my local Ace Hardware store stocks 'em. I'd try any Ace Hardware store w/ a decent selection of individual nuts and bolts.

You know you're going to find it when you get the new ones home.

you will want something with a machined face so it is perpendicular to the axis.
Sometimes the old man passed out and left the am radio on so I got to hear the oldie songs and current event kind of things

Another guaranteed way of finding lost screws and nuts is to clean the floor with your dust collector.

I "lost" mine in the spring. A local hardware store had the nut I needed. Naturally, as soon as I had it on, I found the old one. Never fails.

Of course, this is another case of a local hardware store having something the BORG never would.

Ayep, we need to take care of our hardware stores. They have low-velocity crap a national retailer would never stock.

Not one local hardware store had a left hand threaded jam nut.
I ended up driving about 30 minutes out to a specialty fastener shop thats normally closed to the public. I had to buy 10 but I got a steal of a deal any way. $0.80 each and they are even the same thickness. But the stock wrench no longer fits. Its all good though because I had a 21mm deep well that fit the bill just fine. Absolutely no luck in finding the old nut though. I have no idea where the h3ll that went but that dag on thing is MIA. I looked EVERY WHERE.
In places where I knew there was no way it could have fell as well.
Ah well, now if it happens again at least I have 9 more to replace it with LOL !
