Looking for a source for parts (new miter fence) for my 3100
I had ordered one from gardnerinc - however they said shipping was 32$ (UPS) on a 26$ part - anyone know where I can get parts in Canada

Have you tried Barrett Marketing? They are a bit expensive but should be much cheaper for shipping. Also I have had luck finding and ordering parts from Sears Canada (you need to find the Canadian part number) with no shipping

Let me know if you need any more info with either of these.

Thank you for the suggestions, Sears - what would the Sears # that calls up the BT3100 so I could find out what the Canadian part # would be.
I will also look into Laflamme Électrique Inc and Barrett Marketing

Steve, the latest Sears model in their Canadian ToolBook is "092 827 413".

When I needed a part, I had sent them an email and tried to explain the part (as I didn't know the Sears part number) and within a day or two they replied with few options to follow. Sometimes it is a little of hit-and-miss!! (I ordered a set of brushes which was for a 13 amp and not 15 amp motor.
