    Lubricating fence cam assembly?

The locking assembly on my saw is harder to push down than it used to be. I don't push it all the way down, just far enough to lock the front and back. Still, it is harder to "get there" than it used to be.

Can I lube the cam assembly w/o introducing a safety problem? Any suggested lubricants?

You could use a dry spray lube on the front block where the cam sides ride. Be careful that the lube does not migrate to anywhere else or your fence will not grab and hold the front rail.

Thanks Mark. I used the same Teflon/wax spray I use on the inside of the saw. Man, what an improvement!
