Need opinion on selling the bt3000

I just bought the Hitcahi hybrid TS and now I need to sell my bt3.

Has anyone had any experiance selling the saw in parts or as a whole unit?

I have the saw in very good shape but if I sell it whole I will be limited to my area, "Local pick up only" sort of thing.

If I sell in parts on ebay I can sell to anyone anywhere and maybe make more than than selling the whole. But would take longer of course.

    Has anyone done this?

    Whats your opinion?

P.S. The bt3000 has served me well for at lest 4 years and I hate to disassemble for selling but I have no room.

P.S.S. Any one in the Tampa area have a nice home for a bt3000 in great shape? (Asking $200)

I had my c'man clone up for part out and had a lot of enquiries. I sold the rip fence and was in the middle of sorting out the other parts whan a local guy bought the remains.

This place is the first place I'd list it. Remember if you list it on ebay you'll pay to sell the items ( I think )

I listed my BT3100 here and had no takers. I listed it on Ebay and sold it within 3 days for my asking price. I didn't have to ship - I listed it as a local pickup.
