    raise lower blade difficculty..

I am not a very skilled tablesaw user ..\
I am having difficulty raising (and Lowering) the blade on the bt3100. the wheel turns with difficulty. I can easily chnage the blade angle however..
Would someone please tell me how to correct this, and what the problem is?
    Thanks

        Anthony,

Another thing to watch for is the splitter being tilted too far back and binding on the rear of the blade slot in the table. This will cause a bind, especially when lowering the blade. Something easy to check before you start tearing your saw apart. DAMHIK.
