    Switch problems

I have had my Bt-3100 a little over a year and I have encountered a problem in that it won't turn-off. I have read that other people have had the same problem. I have cleaned the contacts of the switch which fixed it for about a month but then it wouldn't cut off again so I cleaned it again.
There is a local Ryobi warranty dealer but they wanted me to bring in the whole saw not just the switch and they won't give me a switch so I could put it in myself. I don't have a truck. So I want to install a non-ryobi switch. Could someone suggest a specific switch that would work with this saw?

Jrow this is how I fixed mine.

This is the place to ask questions about the Ryobi BT3 series table saws. Please limit the posts to this topic only.

Last time I checked switch was like $40.00 at woodcraft...I think I caught it on sale for like $30.00...I really like the pushbar for shutting it off. I think you could use the router table switch that Rockler has on sale now but it doesn't have the push switch.
The truth is just the truth.
