    1 year old.

its been a year since i purchased my table saw and it has
had it share of projects. (several arcade cabinets, a very large
armoir and lots shelves). The saw was last years christmas present from
my wife. I promised her I would build an armoir since we could not find a
    premade armoir that we liked.

I spent some time over the weekend trying fix the stickiness
that has been afflicinting the blade height adjustment mechanism.
I took the right panel off and blew out the gears and slides and lubricated
everything with some dry lubricant. Now the blade lifts and lowers like new
again. I was suprised on how easy it was to get to the assembly.

Anyone with this mechanism sticking, I encourage you to dissasemble,
blow out and then lube all the parts. It really took me less than 30 minutes.

Makes using the saw much more enjoyable.

Thanks again for the great forums. I have learned a great deal
and have been motivated from reading everyones posts.

My next project is a set up bookshelf speakers.

I'm in the same boat as you!

If all goes well, I will be receiving a BT3100 for xmas also. This thing was bought in June! So you can imagine my anticipation.

I havent built several arcade cabinets yet but I did do one large MAME cabinet and a small Jukebox. I'm hoping the big cabinets will be easier to build with the BT!

    Cheers,

what kind of jukebox did you end up building?

i am also looking to build a juke.
what does yours look like? i am
thinking of building a really slim wall mount unit.
what juke program do you like? i am using skjukebox.
it seems to emulate a barstyle cd jukebox perfectly.

thanks for sharing your cab. my aracde cabinets are mame
cabs too, but most people i talk to dont know what mame is.
here is a link to my cabs so far.
you'll find the table saw make things much easier. be sure to be safe.
kickbacks are possible and the blade will cut off fingers. work slow
      and safely.
