    Advice Needed: Selling my 3100

I am about to step up to a cabinet saw and am sadly (due to space restrictions) going to say goodbye to my BT3100. The question is... how should I go about this? Part it out (which seems like a PITA) or sell it as a whole?

This particular saw has some modifications... I've added a Woodpeck 18" x 22" router table and a Right Side Miter Table. I have the extension rail kit for the 3000 (in box - never installed) that I am thinking of selling as well (is it still of intretest?). I also have a bunch of T-Nuts. Oh, and the accessory kit -- much of which is being used in one way, shape or form.

All in all she's in excellent condition.

So, I am looking for ideas on what is the best way to sell the saw. Any advice is appreciated.

You would probably get more back on your investment by parting it out but would have to deal with packing and shipping. Selling it whole locally invests less of your time and effort. It's a trade off whatever is better for you.

I don't mind hearing it, but keep it to yourself if it stinks.
