I am looking for a mobile base add-on for my bt3100.
    What is the best solution?

Find a Herc-U-Lift from Home Depot. They work really well on BT3100s and are on closeout for around $15 (originally $60). Not all stores have 'em, but it sounds like there are a quite a few still around.

e, if you haven't yet, check out big tim's "tim-will-lift" mobile base that he designed and made. It is in the finished projects forum. Maybe that would be something for you to look into.

        Mobile base

The Tim-Will-Lift is actually in the Testing Forum. It doesn't show there anymore but if you put "The Tim-Will-Lift" in the "Search This Forum" window it will show up.

Boy did I blow that one. Gimpy is right. While I did originally post it in the Testing Forum, I did post it again but that time indeed in the Finished projects Forum and included in that thread drawings, a marerial list and construction comments. My apologies for the confusion, my short term memory seems to be getting shorter.

I made this one for my bandsaw from Wood magazine plans. I have them under the tablesaw and jointer, too.
