Came back to a good thing
Hello everyone, Last week I purchased a BT 3100 from BORG to replace a delta contractors saw I sold last Sept., the funny part is I Sold a BT 3000 to buy the Delta many years ago. I must say I apperciate the saw more now than before. I've followed this forum for many years prior to selling my Delta and it helped me in my decision. I've done all of the alignment checks and waxed the table tops (non silicone) and I must say I can't wait to build some of the excellent jigs featured here. I already ordered an assortment of "t-nuts" and some ZCTP so I can get into some heavy duty wood working. I want to thank some of the vetran posters for the wealth of information they posted here. It is a great help to us newcomers as well as oldtimers. I think I'm one of a few proud owners of the Ryobi Woodworkers Drill Press. It still runs great and I wouldn't trade it for anything, Like the BT's it's also underrated.

Yes, it's a darn good saw. I sure love mine and would without a doubt buy another if something happened to it and I'm not kidding. Love it! I too have the drill press if it's the DP101 you're talking about. I am certainly happy and pleased with it and have used it quite a bit. No doubt a bigger one would be nice but it's done everything I needed it to do. Anyway, again welcome back and enjoy and we'll hopefully be seeing you around the old forum. Take care.
