Well, I burned out my BT3100 ripping boards. Couldn't find a used one, and the cheapest new one I came up with cost $180 on e-bay. Ryobi's parts place wanted $240. Before buying just the motor, I decided to call my closest, (120 miles), Borg and ask about a whole new saw. They had only the floor model left and wanted $239 for it. I bought it over the phone and went to pick it up today. I talked with the dept. manager about the fact that I read here that others were buying new in-the-box BT3100's for the same price, he says he'll give me an additional 10% off. I point out that the legs were missing the bolts so they gave me a few packages of them. I noticed that a couple of the wrenches were missing, as well as the instructions, and he ends up saying, "how does $180 sound"? I was very happy with that, but then at the service desk, the store manager says, "maybe we can throw in another 10% off"! Needless to say I was thrilled. $162 + tax out the door! Sure beats spending $180 or more on just the motor.
