Hi, I'm new here.
I have a BT3001 in my improvised basement shop. I've also got a sump pump. Yesterday, the discharge line got a pinhole leak, which laid a fine spray of water over part of my saw (front rail, rip-fence clamp, front edge of table). I got the water off and took care of the leak, but I observed a bit of rust on some of the steel parts of the fence clamp mechanism. Looks to be surface rust only, and the duration of the spray could not have been more than 24 hours. Do I need to take the mechanism apart, or will a thorough blowout with compressed air dry things out sufficient that I won't have to worry about serious damage? I appreciate any insight anyone may have.
