    Herculift on bt3000

Has anyone attempted to install the herculift on the bt3000. I would like to if it can be done. I installed on on my bandsaw and really like it. I really need the 360 degree turning the herculift allows. Any advice appreciated.
    thanks

Was reading thru the link provided by Preamble and thought about one of the things that constantly came up and that was the flipping back and forth between the instructions and the display pages. when I assembled mine on the 3100, I just photocopied the display pages and it really made it simple to reference the parts and see where they were going.

Sorry, this doesn't provide any answer to your question on if it will work on the 3000

Herc-U-Lift: I've read that it only fits certain Ridgid tools
Herc-U-Lift Plus: My BT3100 is sitting atop one right now.

I think that the shelf on the BT3000 stand would interfere with the lift. It needs at least 12" of clearance. You may want to take a look at the Woodcraft branded HTC2000 (http://www.woodcraft.com/family.aspx?FamilyID=4828). You can also get a real HTC2000 on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000051WSA). Both run around $50. It looks like Amazon is the current winner at $47.

My BT3100 was on top of one (Woodcraft) before I got the Herc-U-Lift Plus -- the only reason for the change was I wanted a mobile workbench, and the Woodcraft base was a good choice for it. Before I got it, I was a little leery of the cheesy-looking lifts. The whole thing is actually quite stable, especially if you bolt the stand to the base (I just inverted the feet, and used them as bolts).
