    Either/or. If there's a good sharpening services locally, I'd use them. If not, I'd send it to Scott Whiting, Ridge Carbide, or Forrest...others may have more suggestions.

      Thanks for all the tips guys. I haven't had time to try cleaning it yet but chipped at it with my fingernail and I don't think it'll be too bad. I was thinking maybe a cloth flap wheel on my grinder might be easiest?

      There are a few sharpening people listed in the phone book. Anyone in South Florida have a recommendation?
